It's really exciting to see the fencing this time of year! The back and forth of it all. The handsome fencers... It's a lot different than seeing knights sparring! It's fancier, and they move so fast. Daddy wants me to wait another year if I want to fence. He says it isn't a light decision, and I should be older. I won't be as skilled as the others my age, but he doesn't think it will be any more than a hobby for me.
I'd like to fence like the greatest of them, but I don't want to get hurt... Cavy says the points and edges still sting no matter how much padding you have! I can wait until I'm fifteen to find out. Not too much longer at all!
