Oh diary, I think things are going very well now! There are still problems, but ... I think it's finally time. I've been waiting a long time to talk to Daddy, and I think I've waited long enough! I'm sure he wants to get out of the castle now, and I have the perfect idea. I can tell him how much I've been enjoying chess, and that it would be nice to go out and play it in the open air. I saw a few tables for that on the edge of the market too. I know I won't win, but Daddy needs to be good at things like playing chess, and I might learn something too! And it would be nice for the people to see him having some fun. It could brighten the whole city up!
I know he'll be excited about this idea!
I'll have to bring it to him soon. I just need to pick the perfect day when he has nothing really important to deal with. I'll check the lists and see when it's only small petitions. His advisors can take care of those! It can't be too far away from now, I haven't heard of any more issues with the army coming up...
