I didn't know how much I was going to miss playing games with Canti, Martha and Chloe. I knew I was going to miss it, but I thought playing with Ayden and maybe Chloe would help take the edge off of it... I even brought a good game for four people, but I can't get Chloe to play it with Ayden, Raoul and I. And Raoul and Ayden don't hate each other, but they don't want to sit down at a game if it's only the two of them and me. Raoul would rather be drawing.
I have fun just playing with Ayden though, so I shouldn't complain! It just isn't the same as playing with a group. It doesn't take as long before we're both tired of the games we've got. I let the guards borrow the deck of cards I brought, and I don't feel right asking for it back at the only time they get to enjoy their breaks.
I wish I knew why Chloe doesn't want to play.

It figures that march wasn't going to let us get away with a good trip. It's done nothing but rain and snow for the past two days. At least we had some good days at the very start! And the rain can't last the whole trip, I know it can't. And the carriages have been absolutely fine, no broken wheels or anything.
Martha, I hope you've been practicing your embroidery while I've been gone!
